We're now roughly at the half way stage of the British Motocross season and so far, so good for our supported mini warriors as they chase down a British MX tite.

GL12 DEP KTM's Ike Carter is leading the way in the Judd KTM British Youth Nationals 125cc class and that's great to see. Ike is putting together a great season, made even better after coming back from injury last year and moving up from the 85cc class. The kid's speed was there to see, dominating the 85cc class before injury hampered his move up to the 125 somewhat. At the halfway stage of the Judd KTM BYN's he has an 11 point lead over Drew Anderson after taking the overall win last time out at Fraddon Moto Parc down in Cornwall.

In the Big Wheeled 85cc class one rider has won every round overall. That young man is Alfie Jones on his DEP powered KTM. Alfie has a healthy 39 point lead at the top of the table and has put together a really consistent season in the championship to this point having never been outside of the top four in any races. He's looking strong and focused and on track for the title.

In the Small Wheel 85cc class Team Green Kawasaki's Ben Mustoe has been representing DEP with some notable results too. It's Ben's rookie year on the team and as well as the class and the small, gritty kid never leaves anything out on track. He currently lies in fourth in the championship and a top three finish in either the remaining three rounds or overall in the championship come the end of the season isn't out of the question. Ben also lies fourth in the Michelin MX Nationals.

Another DEP supported rider who is smashing it is Ashton Boughen in the 65cc class. Like Alfie in the Big Wheel class he's the kid to beat and so far has won every race bar two, and even then he got a second and third. The RFX KTM rider has got it all going on and almost looks a different rider from last year. His confidence is sky high and the other kids in the class know they're going to have to dig deep to peg him back. And with our new KTM 65cc DEP system that bike of his is ripping!

Great work on the first half of the season lads. All the best of luck for the rest of the year from all of us at DEP and hopefully with more race wins and championships at the end of it for all your efforts! Proud to spport you all.
