After a successful 2016 the GL12 team have switched to KTM from Yamaha and kicked off their season at the Hawkstone International.

Joining the team for 2017 alongside the long standing team leader Lewis Gregory is Mike Kras, the reigning EMX300 champion and young Dutchman Mack Bouwense, the current Dutch 85cc champion who moves up to the 125. The team will be competing in the newly formed British 2 stroke championship as well as EMX300 and EMX125 competition.

Team manager Bob Buchanan is naturally excited about his team line up with last year's EMX300 champion joining the team and with Gregory proving he's capable of race wins both at home and in Europe the team are one of the most formidable in European 2 stroke racing. As proved at the recent Hawkstone International last weekend where Kras took the award for the leading 2 stroke rider amongst the four stroke machines with an impressive 8th overall in the MX1 class.

With their 2017 debut race out of the way the team now know where they are at and are gearing up to go 1-2 in the EMX300 championship which starts in Teutschenthal, Germany on the 21st May, but before then their championship quest for the British 2 stroke title starts at Canada Heights on April 30th. Good luck for the years ahead fellas, it's a pleasure to be supporting you. For more information on the GL12 KTM team just click here
